Non Profit Non-Government Group Of Voluntary Students Seeking Support To Raise Funds For St. Dominic's Church
Bahawalpur, Pakistan – September 9, 2015 –Qasim Malik and other fellow students decided to help St. Dominic's Church raise funds to support their needs. They are a non-profit, non-government group of voluntary students seeking support to raise funds for St. Dominic's Church in Bahawalpur In Pakistan. This is the only church in this city and it needs urgent repairs.
Since they don’t have much financial support from the local government, they have no other choice to raise funds through crowd funding. St. Dominic's Church also runs a school for Christian children and needs urgent repair of the building. They are requesting support for this great cause.
About St. Dominic’s Church in Bahawalpur
St. Dominic’s Church, Bahawalpur is in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Multan in Pakistan. The
church of St. Dominic was built in 1962. The parish is also home to a
convent, St. Dominic's Middle School for boys and the Dominican Convent
School for girls. In Bahawalpur there are some 2,000 Catholic families
and about 250 Church of Pakistan families. The Church of Pakistan
community has no place of worship of their own, so they were offered the
use of the building of St. Dominic's Church for their Sunday morning
services.
