Sargeant Q Finally Releases Long-Awaited Album' Last Chance'

 

The 'Last Chance' album presents Sargeant Q's musical versatility and varied musical composition. The album will be available on December 3rd on global music streaming platforms. 

Portsmouth, VA - Prolific singer-songwriter Sargeant Q/SGT Q, aka Quentin D James, announced his upcoming album titled 'Last Chance'. The album is another accomplishment and shows his enhanced lyrical craftsmanship & musical versatility. The album is SGT Q's first 2021 album release after the latest album titled 'The Boss' was released in 2019. "The 'Last Chance' album launching event will be a great achievement for me, thanks to Beau Vallis, Universal Soldier Entertainment team, and Columbia Records, who have provided all the support for the manifestation of this long-awaited album. To all my fans, I hope you enjoy the songs on this album. I appreciate that all of you have followed and enjoyed my music," said Sargeant Q on the 'Last Chance' launch. 

 

In 2021, SGT Q released various captivating singles, including 'I want (Spanglish Edition)', 'Cesa', 'Complication', and 'Como Tu'. Como Tu music video had already been published on the Sargeant Q YouTube channel a few days ago. His music is a fusion of multiple genres like Hip-hop, R&B, Pop blending with energetic and soothing beats that take listeners to chill, explore, and feel the beat. SGT Q's upcoming EP is engineered by Beau Vallis, a well-known singer, music producer, and music engineer. 

 

Moreover SGT Q's upcoming 'Last Chance' album is dedicated to the African American community who struggle to try and speak to a broader audience. His music for December 3rd release is inspired by the world's top artists like Lil Wayne, Meek Mills, Bad Bunny, Ozuna, The Diplomats, Rakim y Ken-Y, and Wisin y Yandel.

Sargeant Q or SGT Q is also known as Quentin D James, is an American hip-hop/R&B artist. Sargeant Q is originally from Providence, Rhode Island. He was born to a mother of Native Americans and a father of Creole descent. Sargeant Q is a singer-songwriter, and Portsmouth, VA native. He was raised in Providence, Rhode Island, until the age of 13. Currently, SGT Q lives in Arlington, Virginia, and produces songs on his recording company ‘Universal Soldier Entertainment’. Quentin D James - A second Chance



“Quentin Dymen James” who has been nationally recognized as an independent music artist and public figure, has been continuously making efforts to change his life. Quentin who is now 33, followed in his father’s steps of becoming a musician. Quentin James started off in his teens where he played the keyboard in bands, eventually working his way up to the desirable dream of being a rapper. A creole Native, Quentin begun rapping about a life lived that even his own family didn’t know about. From drugs, money, and gang affiliation, Quentin was able to keep his head above water, rarely being in the spotlight for law enforcement.

Quentin James has also managed to keep it a big secret almost living a double life from family members. Being involved in numerous fights and gang initiations, Quentin then became known as in the ranking of a “Sergeant”.

Living in the city of Arlington Virginia created the other life that Quentin was sustaining. Hiding it very well from his family, he could not hide it in the streets of Northern Virginia. Being detained on several different occasions, Quentin almost always found a way to get out of the trouble he always seemed to be a part of. In college, Quentin James continued to show this type of life while being a highly recognized academic leader throughout his college years being involved in the Honors Society, Student Government Association, and the President of the Ambassadors Program.

After graduation, Quentin wanted better for his life and in doing so, making an effort to get out of the affiliated gang, he moved away, getting far away from Northern Virginia as possible. Quentin James has joined and became part of an organization called “Samaritan Women” in which helps the girls rescued from human trafficking, have their life back! He started his career in the music business learning what it took to be on the positive side of things.

As for today, Quentin James is known as “Sargeant Q” in today’s hip hop culture. Quentin has come a long way and with the success slowly building up after 10 years, you can hear it in his voice, actions, and in his music. Although the exact whereabouts of Quentin James has not been public, he is often seen in Washington DC, Virginia, and in the Maryland area.
