Earthlovers.ca launches Eco-Friendly and plastic-free, dry concentrated laundry detergent, an innovative invention to replace laundry liquids, liquid hand soap, or dishwashing liquid.
The accumulation of plastic waste in the environment could lead to plastic pollution and adversely affects wildlife in the ocean, wildlife habitat, and particularly human beings. Plastic is one of the materials that need more than 400 years to degrade, and only a few of them are degradable. Plastic that is made from oil or plant-based products are safe for the environment. They are decomposed by bacteria, fungi, or other microorganisms. Based on the study, of the 8.3 billion metric tons produced, 6.3 billion metric tons has become plastic waste. Only nine percent of them have been recycled.
Earthlovers.ca, a startup company that committed to producing eco-friendly household products, announced its new plastic-free detergent product to replace laundry liquids, as well as liquid hand soap and dishwashing liquid. The product is called Laundry Token. Laundry token is a coin/token shaped made of dry concentrated laundry detergent that works like detergent liquid as a cleansing agent. According to the Earthlovers founder, their Earth Tokens are three times more concentrated than Laundry Liquid. To use the Earth Token is simple. It only needs to dissolve one token in a 1/2 cup of water and use it as a cleansing agent to the laundry.
Earth Lovers representative explained, “Laundry Token promotes eco friendly and sustainable materials. We have defined the products to be made from coconut oils ingredients and their derivatives. Therefore, it is friendly to the environment and is safe for humans and animals. They are made from 100% vegan ingredients and free of dangerous ingredients, like chemical preservatives. Earth Lovers Tokens are free of plastic materials, both for packaging and for containers. Thus, the products are also free of waste.”
