Toronto, ON – July 2, 2015 – Boris Tesel is
seeking to raise funing for his parents as a special thank you so that they can
buy their own home. His folks are survivors and are older, but they still pay
their own way and insist on being independent.
Like your typical loving parents both worked long hours for
Boris’s benefit. Growing up he took his parents for granted and he described
himself as a brat. He felt more entitled than appreciative and he wasn't an
easy kid to deal with, so he wants to show his appreciation now that he is an
adult.
Boris’s parents never owned a house. In Latvia, at that time it
was still under the soviet communist regime so ownership was not allowed. In
Canada when his folks finally managed to save enough money for a decent
down-payment on home instead of buying one they gave it Boris so that he could
buy a very nice home. Since then their financial situation has declined and Boris
started a Tilt campaign to raise money in gratitude for his loving parents.
