Help Provide Funding
to Bring a New Celtic Historical Drama to Film
Valley Village, CA -- April 21, 2015 -- Lucas Diercouff and
his film cast and crew proudly announce the campaign to help fund their new
historical short film, entitled The Cael.
The Gael is a Celtic historical action short film
about a husband and wife's journey to be reunited after being separated by the
Romans. Aengus, a Celtic husband and warrior, and his wife, Caer, are forced to
defend their home and fight to get back to one another. Filmed in the idyllic
wine country location of Paso Robles, CA, this film takes place in Medieval
Scotland.
Writer,
Director, and Producer, Lucas Diercouff, is a former U.S. Army veteran pursuing
a BFA degree in Filmmaking at the New York Film Academy in Burbank, CA. Along
with his cast, including Rachel J. Clark, Paul Meixner, Shay House, Dale
Nowicki, James E. Bane, John Kyle Sutton, crew and support staff, Mr. Diercouff
is seeking funding to help support the production of the film.
The Gael
Production Team is seeking funding in the amount of $10,000 to complete the
film. While they have already received approximately 20% of their goal, they
are still in need of donations in order to purchase materials to build the
iconic roundhouse, essential to the story; they are also in need of funding to
cover the costs of transportation for cast and crew, food and accommodations,
as well as paying for SAG (Screen Actors Guild) membership minimums for their talented
cast members.
The cast and
crew of The Gael are slotted to being filming May 4th-May 8th. Become a part of
this exciting project by making a generous donation today! Any financial
contribution is appreciated and will help them reach their goal. Backers will
be rewarded with perks from the movie, including a digital copy of the film’s
score, film memorabilia and mentions as a producer of the film for donations of
$1,000 and more.
