Kimberly Phirman started fundraising to train her dog to be a service dog. She hopes her dog can help her in their daily activity with her diabetes and other health problems she suffered from.

CINCINNATI, OH - Kimberly Phirman is a diabetic and has many other health problems, such as hypertension and post-traumatic stress disorder. She is suffering from many health problems, makes Kimberly unable to do her activity, normally. Announcing the Medical Campaign to Help Cynthia Hart

Cynthia Hart/Kizerian Beating The Odds

Salt Lake City, UT  – March 15, 2015 – Mary Hart is the proud daughter of Cynthia and Jimmy Hart. Her Dad passed away October 6, 2014 from ALS (Lou Gehrigs Disease.) During this time, Mary’s mom got the help she needed through sobriety so she could be there for her husband and family. Mary was her father's power of attorney and primary caregiver, but couldn't have done it without the help of her mother. Without her, the death of her father and the recovery process would have been unfathomable.

Mary and her mother have been through a lot this past year. Mary’s mother is the strongest woman she has ever met, she’s her everything; her hero, and is the one keeping her going and giving her strength and hope. Three months after the love of her life passed, Cynthia was sadly diagnosed with Stage 3C Ovarian cancer. She successfully had the debulking surgery done, and is now living with Mary in Salt Lake City while completing 6 cycles of 2 different types a chemo; paclitaxel, and carboplatin (chemo every week, 1 cycle=3 weeks). After the 6 cycles of chemo, Mary would like her mom to go to a medical facility outside the U.S. that will be able to help her maintain remission and prevent the cancer from coming back. U.S. statistic for women with ovarian cancer stage 3C, is that 1 out of 6 women live 5 years. I cannot settle for that.

The first step to furthering treatment is to investigate the cause which they have raised enough money for. The doctor whom Mary has spoken with (outside of the U.S.) traveling to Utah this month to collect samples which will then be sent to various countries. Once they're able to know what caused her mother's ovarian cancer, they'll be able to come up with a specific treatment plan after finishing chemo. The treatment cost is unknown until they find the cause, but she has been told treatment could cost between $10,000-$20,000, not including travel  fees. Mary changed the goal amount to $25,000 hoping they can raise enough to find out the cause and the rest to cover all of her of her treatment and plane tickets. And GoFundMe and WePay takes out a nice percentage out of each donation. Once they figure out the cause Mary will change the goal amount to the treatment amount + the fundraising fees for this website.

Please help Mary’s mom get the chance to live and grow old. Please help give her mom the time to fulfill her life. Because of the sheer volume of campaigns that come in, only a few are able to reach their goals.

Among the plethora of campaigns asking for assistance, here’s one that I’d like to share with you:

“A Secret Project for My Mother” is about a woman who was faced with the decision of whether to have an abortion many years back. She decided not to, and instead dedicated her life towards her would-be children and sacrifice her own dreams. This was a very hard decision, and the campaign reveals how much she went through because of that decision. Her son, Brett, who is running the campaign, knows this and in his words is trying to “give [his] mother – a woman who sacrificed everything she had for those around her – one last shot to achieve the impossible”. Achieving the impossible is referring to his mother’s home-based business, which is going to be changing dramatically in the next year. He states that she has to grow it quickly due to circumstances out of her control.

Brett believes she can get past these hurdles, mentioning her performance in finance during her lifetime and including the fact she is on a board of ethics; definitely a plus for someone in the finance industry. He explains however, that “there comes a time in life when you know you can’t do it alone”.

While the goal for the campaign is somewhat high, when Brett breaks it down into parts it’s understandable, considering what his mother has gone through in her life. This is for an empowered mother of 2 and who always fights for others and deserves someone fighting for her.

Ceres, CA – October 25, 2014 – Due to a required binding arbitration process, the lawsuit is sealed and anonymity is important where we can’t mention the person who this campaign is being raised for.  However, what can be said is that she is a very caring and giving person. Always fighting for everyone to be the best and to obtain what is just. We want to give her justice by raising money on GoFundMe to help her through this time of struggle.

She is a mother to two young children, her husband was diagnosed with melanoma cancer and he was undergoing treatment when all of this started.  The family was going through hell thinking that they would not see their daddy for much longer. Fortunately, the melanoma did not go into the bloodstream and the surgery removed all the cancer.

During these hard times, instead of sympathy her employer gave her termination. She, wrongfully, lost her lawsuit against her employer and is now required to pay the defense’s lawyer’s cost. She wholeheartedly felt discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination during her husband’s cancer treatment. Unfortunately the world of arbitration is not fair. Arbitration is for corporate America, not Americans. 

She has not been able to find a salary job since her termination in 2012 and is having a hard time with two young children to support. Needless to say, they are in a horrible financial situation and this judgment has pushed the family passed their financial limits.

A GoFundMe campaign was created to give her, her justice. The hope is for her to walk away with her head held high. A lot of women accept discrimination and inequality in the work place because they do not know their rights or they do not want to face horrible outcomes like hers. Yes, fighting for what’s right is hard and it may not give you the outcome you seek. However, if there’s a will then there’s a way and woman need to keep fighting regardless of outcome. If we keep fighting, then eventually, the fights will diminish and they will get easier.  

Please help raise the money for her, so that she can keep fighting and keep holding her head high. When rocks unite together, big and small, collectively, they can take a beating from the massive ocean. As people, we need to stand together and keep fighting for equality.

Announcing a Campaign to Fund a Trip for a Family Who Lost Mom

Houston, TX – August 14, 2014 – Stephen Green’s children, Mary (Age 10) & Matt (Age 7), lost their mother last year who died of a sudden heart attack. They took it very hard as their mother was a stay at home mom that daily worked with them on homework, cooked for them and drove them to school - loved them deeply. She was a wonderful Christian mother. Since then it has been a slow and hard recovery for them to get used to life without their mother - as well without their father being around all the time to comfort them.

Stephen had to move around for work a lot. Because his work is unsteady he optioned to leave his Children in the Philippines with his wife’s family (her two sisters) who loves and takes care of them deeply while at the same time instill in them good Christian values. He is capable to send them a good monthly allowance which pays for their home, monthly expenses, schooling, tutor and clothing as any good father should do. However it does not leave much for him to visit them and spend personal time with them so he is left to talking to his children by skype and phone call all the time.
   
Stephen is seeking a donation so he can visit his Children in the Philippines and spend time with them taking them on a nice vacation to Hong Kong where they can enjoy Disney Land Hong Kong, Ocean Park and the Hong Kong laser light show. At the same time he wants to introduce them to the cultural differences as he believes this will offer them the opportunity to learn about other cultures which is beneficial to future personal development. 

Because of financial reason Stephen has not visited his children in the Philippines since last Christmas / New Years and would like to visit by September 21st as his son’s birthday is September 25th (he missed his birthday last year).
