Amb. Dr. Prince Kojo-Hilton Partners with Extraordinary People Awards

Brentwood, TN-9/19/20, Extraordinary People Awards identify individuals that have achieved exceptional success in their professions and/or have contributed to their communities by empowering the lives of others.  The honorees are chosen by the advisory team and from members comprised of distinguished authors, artists, entrepreneurs, ministers and community service leaders from different sectors. This year the awards decided to partner with Hilwood Studios ( The Arts Legendary Wall of Fame) to continue to empower the lives of artist.

THE ARTS LEGENDARY WALL OF FAME HONOURS” is a brainchild of Amb. Dr. Prince Kojo-Hilton, a multi-Award winner and a global Visual Art icon. He was conferred as The Pan African Art Ambassador by The Confederation of Governance Assessment Institute (COGAI). Amb. Dr. Kojo-Hilton signed a memorandum of understanding with the National Museum of Ghana, to annually donate a painted portrait of a Historical Legend in the area of Arts and the Sciences, to eulogize their legacies and achievements. Speaking in an interview, Amb. Dr. Kojo-Hilton recounted his early days experience at the National museum in 1992 at age 12. At the museum he was fascinated by everything he saw and as curious as he was the museum became his hideout, since his mother disallowed him from exploring arts at home. In disapproval he was scolded for drawing and painting because his mother’s dream was and I quote “I want you to learn hard to become a pilot and fly planes not to do useless drawings.” In as much as his school was just a wall away from home, he always dashed straight to the museum after school hours with his sketch pad, pencils and watercolor. Upon gazing at the numerous artifacts in the museum, it ignited his creative intuition to replicate those paintings on his sketch pad, most of the patrons at the museum were thrilled with the precision and glamor at which young Kojo-Hilton mirrored the museum paintings on his sketch pad. Young Kojo-Hilton amazed by the accolades from the patrons, said to himself “I will one day hang my painting on this museum wall to honor legends of the arts”. That saying gave him the added edge to rally on the shoulders of The legends of the Arts and the sciences to carve a niche for himself. “A nation that honors its heroes is worth dying for."
