Announcing the Campaign to Help Fund a Life-Saving Kidney Transplant

Help a family man collect the funding necessary to pay for his kidney transplant

Oklahoma City, OK  March 1, 2015 – Greg Hall and his family announce the campaign to raise money for a desperately needed kidney transplant.

As a 29 year old student, Greg Hall is both a college student and family man. Greg has been married to the love of his life for 10 years, and together they have three beautiful, amazing kids. A few years ago, Greg moved the family back to Oklahoma City to continue his education, as well as provide better for his family. Greg plans to graduate in August of 2015 with an associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy, finishing his education with a master’s degree in Occupational Therapy by 2019.

About a year after moving back to Oklahoma City, Greg discovered he was suffering from severe kidney failure. As of June 2nd 2014, he has a combined kidney function of less than 10%. Greg is currently undergoing dialysis treatment 7 days a week to try to fight back against his kidney disease. Unfortunately, dialysis is not a permanent fix, and Greg is in desperate need of a kidney transplant. They are hoping he can receive a kidney transplant in time to make a full recovery prior to starting graduate school.

In the meantime, the Hall family is having a horrible time trying to keep up with bills. Greg had to leave his job, and the combined stress of raising money for the cost of the transplant, the medicine he must stay on for the rest of his life, and to cover donor expenses have left the family in a tough financial situation.

Greg and his family are asking for financial donations in any amount, in order to pay off some of their bills and save up for the kidney transplant expenses. Their goal is to raise $200,000 by August of 2015. Please consider donating whatever you can to this family.

Announcing the Campaign to Raise Money for ALS

Help raise money for treatment of ALS through Debra’s Journey for Life Foundation

Orlando, Florida  February 19, 2015 – Debra Haugabrook-Briggs announces the campaign to raise money for the Debra’s Journey for Life Foundation. Debra was diagnosed with Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, on September 10, 2012. Lou Gehrig’s disease, is a
neurodegenerative disease that weakens neurons in the brain and upper spinal cord which control
muscles. This disease eventually leaves the patient completely paralyzed, but the majority of people with ALS will maintain hearing, sight, touch, smell, and taste. Currently there is not a cure for ALS, it is a fatal disease with a devastating journey.

At any one time, there are about 30,000 people living with ALS, each year 5,000 people are diagnosed. The cause of ALS is unknown, it is such a rare disease and most people will never know anyone with ALS in their life time. Because it is so unknown, it does not get the attention, thus is lacking in research funding/focus from drug companies, nor does it get adequate support and awareness from others.

Debra's husband, Walter Briggs (former New York Jets quarterback), has been instrumental in helping to raise millions of dollars for many Charities throughout the Country with Golf Tournaments, and Bowling Tournaments. He of course is in the forefront of this fight against ALS with alongside his wife. They never thought we would be in this situation, stricken with such a horrific disease and in
a fight for life.

Your Gift donations to Debra’s Journey for Life Foundation will help The ALS Association and ALS Therapy Development Institute support research to find a cure for ALS. You will also be providing help to much-needed services for many ALS patients and their families affected by this disease. Join Debra’s Journey for Life Foundation in their efforts by making a difference with this cause.

Announcing the Help Fight Depression Campaign by Alfred Bellanti

Help to Reduce Depression in Our population
Pagewood, NSW, Australia – December 7, 2015 – Did you know that over 10% of the population suffer or have suffered depression at one stage in their life? And that’s only the cases that are reported or diagnosed. There must be many more. The tragedy with depression and the worst case scenario end result of suicide is that people don’t know enough about depression to “get on top of it”.

For many years Alfred Bellanti had suffered depression in his earlier years. Since then he had a breakthrough and have been helping others, professionally and at a personal level.

Alfred was fortunate enough to get a momentary insight into his own depression and “got on top of it” as it were. From that experience he discovered that you don’t have to stay depressed, that depression is manageable and that you can find your way back from depression.

A few years later Alfred was able to bounce back even after a life threatening bout with cancer. Since then he has researched depression and explored the various therapies available: Depression is preventable, and can be self-managed. Alfred has helped friends as well as clients at a professional level.

The result of this is that I wrote an ebook: “Manage Your Depression: a self help guide

Alfred’s mission now is to help more people with depression, through books, courses, videos, apps, webinars and workshops. Can you donate to help develop self-help courses, workshops, videos to assist the many people suffering depression?

By developing these products, marketing them and making them available both online and offline, the help I offer will have a far wider reach.

About Alfred Bellanti

Alfred Bellanti graduated with a Bachelor of Science from University of New South Wales in 1987. In 1993 Alfred completed a Graduate Diploma in Social Science, focusing on Psychology. As the next step he became qualified as a Clinical Hypnotherapist and completed the mandatory 12 month supervisory period to be accepted into the Australian Society of Clinical Hypnotherapists.

He has been practicing since then and has helped many of his clients through depression and other issues for which they saw him e.g. anxiety, quit smoking, weight loss. During this period Alfred also obtained a Diploma in Botanical Medicine entitled him to practice Western Herbalism.

In February 2002 He was diagnosed with a Lymphatic Cancer. Severe complications set in after surgery that brought him very close to death. He slowly recovered and went back to work in Pharmacies and Health stores.

In conjunction with this work he continued to see people in his private practice. In 2013 Alfred Published an eBook titled “How to Manage Your Depression: a Self Help Guide”.

Alfred is currently developing a series of lectures on depression and has begun conducting workshop for those who want to actively participate in their own recovery.

Announcing the Campaign to Help Anne with Medical Expenses

Anne recently found out that she has a pretty large aneurysm in her brain and needs help paying medical bills.

Payson, UT – October 1, 2014 – Anne recently found out that she has a pretty large aneurysm in her brain and doesn’t have any medical insurance. She can't afford to miss work and needs help from others so she can continue to be a wife and Mother to her family before it's too late.

GoFundMe is a personal crowdfunding platform that was launched on May 10, 2010 and has quickly become the World’s #1 fundraising site for personal causes and life-events.  Anne created a GoFundMe campaign to help raise money to get her much needed CT scan so she can get the necessary surgery to fix her aneurysm.

Medicaid will cover her expenses once she hits her spend down amount. She does not have any other insurance to cover the medical expenses.

Anne’s GoFundMe campaign page is: http://www.gofundme.com/f6789o

About Brain Aneurysms

A brain aneurysm, also referred to as a cerebral aneurysm or intracranial aneurysm (IA), is a weak bulging spot on the wall of a brain artery very much like a thin balloon or weak spot on an inner tube.

Over time, the blood flow within the artery pounds against the thinned portion of the wall and aneurysms form silently from wear and tear on the arteries. As the artery wall becomes gradually thinner from the dilation, the blood flow causes the weakened wall to swell outward.

This pressure may cause the aneurysm to rupture and allow blood to escape into the space around the brain. A ruptured brain aneurysm commonly requires advanced surgical treatment.
