Vandi Lynnae, an American singer, musician, and songwriter, is proud to announce her latest work. The first track, titled "Do You Wanna Be," is written and produced independently. In this upcoming single, Vandi utilized the talents of family friend, Kevin Nolan, of Rude Music, who plays guitar on the track.   It’s "about a relationship where you aren't quite sure what you are—are you friends, lovers, dating, or mere acquaintances? It asks what the other person wants out of this relationship," said Vandi Lynnae, who has grown up in an artistic family and has won several awards in music competitions, notably the Tuesday Musical Vocal Category winner during her graduate studies.

 

Vandi's second single to be released this month on her birthday, December 29th, is titled "Holding On." The song was written while Vandi was still in school working on a master of music in vocal performance. This faster paced pop song was written, recorded, and produced by Ms. Lynnae herself.  When asked what inspired this song, she states, “My marriage at the time was crumbling, and I wrote this song as a gift to my husband.  I’m not the best at communicating in words alone, but I can express what I feel through music. This was my way of reaching out and attempting to rebuild a connection.” Vandi explained about the song, ‘"Holding On” talks about how different we are and how much I desperately wanted to make it work.’ The song lyrics include, "We're like fire and ice, a fish and a kite, I don't wanna swim. I wanna fly." ‘It says, "I'm Holding On," whatever comes - "Holding on tight, hanging on for life." ‘ Vandi states, “Ultimately, that relationship ended, but it wasn't for lack of trying on my part!” Vandi's singles will be available on music streaming providers like Spotify and Apple Music.

Hip-hop is as diverse as they come in the music world, and Haiti is no exception to its community.

Born Jefferson Edmond in Gonaives, Haiti, now Jeff AZoe multifaceted artist. His transition from poverty and hardships to attaining his goals is a story to be told for generations to come. Being left by his father with his mother and older brother, “G”, at the innocent age of 2, AZoe grew up knowing the definition of being poor and having to make do with what little he had. Even through his struggles, he had the mentality of a winner, always believing that he would make a better life for himself and his family. Little did he know, his dreams had already began manifesting. In 2007 his father made arrangements to have him, his mother, and brother migrate to Delaware, USA, to live with him. While it was a step-up from his past situation, his tendency to get sidetracked from studies with partying, music, and getting into trouble, forced them to move to Georgia. This would bring him even closer to becoming the star he is today.

Georgia seemed to be the place he never knew he needed. AZoe went on to attend and graduate from Fort Valley State University, Georgia, with a degree in computer science. Being the ambitious individual he is, a degree wasn’t the only thing nurtured into his skillset. AZoe was a household name in the world of party promotion and also expanded his entrepreneurial knowledge and started a successful record label “Zoe Nation Gang Ent, LLC” with his older brother, “G”. They would work with artists Brudda Haitian & Big Brudda Haitian promoting the former’s hit single “GONE BAD” which amassed over one million views on YouTube. As I study and work as a physical education teacher and soccer coach, it was tough to make music. Nevertheless, I released 12 songs in 2019, and it was a fantastic year."
