Announcing the Campaign to Raise Funds for Humanity

A Campaign for Humans Who Care

St. Pete, FL -- April 29, 2015 -- Funds for Humanity, and online campaign designed to raise funding for a variety of charities, proudly announces their campaign to raise money for their charity, New Tags for Homeless Pets.

Funds for Humanity’s list of approved humane and responsible charities focuses primarily on causes that promote animal welfare, helping the homeless, stopping child abuse & hunger, offering resources to local charities, environmental protection, finding cures for terminal diseases, human equality, and more.

For this campaign in particular, a portion of the funds raised will go to their animal rescue, New Tags for Homeless Pets, which focuses on taking dogs and cats from high volume, kill-shelters and off the streets in order to find them loving homes. New Tags for Homeless Pets has been rescuing and rehabilitating animals for over 15 years and are hoping to expand their charity.

Some of the funds raised will also be donated to other charities that share the same core values and expectations central to Funds for Humanity and New Tags for Homeless Pets’ philosophy -- to help rather than hurt.

The minimum fundraising goal for this campaign is $56,000, but the creators of this campaign are confident that they will exceed this amount before the end date is reached. Your generous donation will ensure that countless pets, families, and others in desperate need of assistance will be able to find the help they need to rise out of the depths of despair.

This is your chance to be a part of something bigger than yourself. Please consider donating and sharing this campaign. Please join us in saying that YOU STILL HAVE YOUR FAITH IN HUMANITY!

Announcing the Campaign to Help a Struggling Family Get Back on Their Feet

Help the Contreras family break the cycle of financial hardship and find a safe home for their children.

Sacremento, CAJanuary 12, 2015 – The Contreras, a family of five, consists of two loving parents and three wonderful daughters ages 4,5, and 13. The family became homeless on 9-6-14 after being evicted due to an unexpected change in management, resulting in their losing their home in favor of tenants better able to afford a higher rent.

The family moved their belongings to
Sacremento, CA, and quickly found themselves having car trouble. Their van is no longer safe to drive and exists primarily to hold their limited personal belongings. It has become a difficult task to find parking for the vehicle that will not result in tickets or towing.

While Mr. Contrera's husband's job will eventually turn into full time, and raises will apply after six months, both parents are currently only able to work part-time. Covering food, shelter or transportation is becoming more and more difficult.

The family is asking for donations that will cover a variety of needs:  As the family applies for new housing, they will need to cover the cost of application fees, deposits, and first few months rent. The other funds would go towards getting a new used mini van. The monies received will allow the Contreras family to afford food, clothing and provide just enough to cover monthly rent.

As a family with 2 very young children, and one in middle school, Mrs. Contreras is growing increasingly more concerned about their safety and wellbeing. Finding schooling has been unsucessful due to their temporarily homeless state, and they have been forced to live in areas that are rife with crime.

A very hard working family, the Contreras are deeply grateful for every penny that can be donated to their cause. Their children need your help!
